Daisy Irene Steward Williams, 96, a native of Mason, Tennessee, and a longtime 
resident of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017, in Slidell. 

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Jessie Steward; 
her husband: George Finnie Williams; three brothers: Arthur, Merrell, and Fred 
Steward; two sisters: Arlie Inks and Zelma Bowling; one son: Douglas Finnie 
Williams; and a grandson: Johnny Allen.

She is survived by daughters: Virginia Allen (John David) of Jack, Alabama, 
Carolyn Lott (Harvey) of Picayune, Mississippi, June Smith (Courtney) of 
Slidell, Lousiana; three sons: Fred Williams of Pensacola, Florida, Wyatt 
Williams (Sandy) of Slidell, Louisiana, and Wayne Williams (Lil) of Huntsville, 
Texas; daughter-in-law: Debbie Williams.

Also survived by twenty grandchildren, fortythree great-grandchildren fourteen 
great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST 
(IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 7:00 P.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 5:00pm.

Additional services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the Victoria 
Baptist Church in Victoria, Alabama.

Donations may be made to the Thompson Road Baptist Church, Slidell, Louisiana.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the dedicated staff of 
Trinity Neurological Rehabiliation Center for the tender care, kindness and 
love shown to their mother during her residency at Trinity.
