Eddie was born in Metairie, Louisiana and resided in Mandeville. Loving husband of Natalie Ann Barton for 17 years. Father of Layna Gregoire and Promise Grace Barton. He mentored two teenagers who called him Dad, Victor Harris and Trace Moore. Son of Ponce de Leon and Laurie Ann Barton. Grandson of Marjorie Corcoran and the late Edward Corcoran. Brother of Ponce de Leon Barton Jr. and the late Elizabeth Ann Barton. He was the Beloved “Uncle Eddie” to Daniel, Devin, Cortney, Lyn, Ponce Mason, Trinity, Zachary, Stephen, Anna, Nicholas, Christopher, Caroline, Olivia, Evelyn and Joshua. Eddie was a man of many talents and his intuitive ways of observation enabled him to master specialized chemistry and hold his own amongst the industry’s best. His strong passion for bodybuilding as a young man led him to join numerous online bodybuilding communities and after a year spending long hours researching these forums every day, partnered with his wife, he started his first of many popular and very successful online stores. By the end of his life, he laid the groundwork for what would become new trends in the research chemical and supplement market, built two globally known online supplement stores focusing on health, wellness and fitness products, as a whole. He was known as the highly, respected Board Administrator of prohormoneforum.com discussion board, that he owned while being widely respected and adored, and in the final stages opened a local brick and mortar retail supplement “superstore”. In both his professional and personal life he was known as a truly unique, generous, kindhearted and “spirited” individual. He was an inspiration to all of his friends, family and members of the community across the globe. He loved to teach others about his experiences in life, fitness and health. He gave everything he could to the people he crossed paths with and for Eddie, when he gave a person his friendship he remained loyal to his commitment for life. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until Mass begins at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St., Mandeville, LA. ===================
