Beloved wife of the late Robert Emile Crais. Mother of Robert E. Crais, Jr.(Jessie), Sandra C. Burke(Leonard) and Mary Ann McKenna(Jerry). Daughter of the late Leo Arnold Ragas and Rita Farrell Ragas. Sister of the late Dorothy R. Truxillo. Grandmother(Granny) of Leonard “Clay” Burke, II, Meighan E. Burke, Rene E. Crais, Rebecca E. Crais, Amber V. McKenna, Jennifer M. Haston and the late Ryan E. Crais. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A native of New Orleans, Isabel was the secretary for the Vieux Carre Commission, as well as the secretary for St. Cecilia Catholic Church in New Orleans and St. Ann-St. John Catholic Church in Waveland, MS. She was the Executive Director of the New Orleans Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Just before retiring to Bay St Louis, MS with her husband, Isabel was the bookkeeper for Pitard, Pitard and Porobil Attorneys at Law. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Park Provence and Passages Hospice for their utmost loving care. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 61030 Brier Lake Drive, Lacombe, LA, on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Louis # 3 Cemetery, New Orleans, La. Visitation at the church on Monday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time. Masses preferred, in lieu of flowers. ===================
