Dr. John Foster went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 11, 2017. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Rosemary and their three children. 
Son Eddie (wife Candy) grandson Joshua, granddaughter Abigail. Son Johnny Jr 
(Frog) of Covington. Daughter Debbi F Moore (husband Richard) grandson Aaron 
of Orlando Florida. Also, survived by three sisters Patsy Nash of 
Shreveport, Elaine Elkins of Bossier City and Cindy Haney of Ruston. 

Johnny was born December 1st, 1932 in Spearsville, La, to Troy and Edith 
Foster (deceased). He was a classroom teacher from 1955-1968 and a principal 
at Southeast Hospital School from 1968-1980. He also had a Phd in Special 
Education. Johnny had a love for golf. He was very active in the Gideon 
Ministry. Also he loved his church. 

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at First Baptist 
Church in Covington, La. 
Visitation from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Service at 11:00AM. A reception will 
follow in the fellowship hall of the church. All is invited.
