John James Jowly, of Lacombe, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017, he 
was 88 years old.

Beloved husband for 66 years of the late Doris E. Buttner Jowly.
Father of: James J. Jowly(Karen); Ceserene Jowly Koppi (Mike); Evelina Mae 
Jowly Edwards.
Son of the late Christopher James Jowly and Ceserene Belinda Dejanaz Jowly.
Brother of the late Metro James Jowly.
Also, survived by his loving grandchildren: Heather Jowly Huff; Joseph 
Jowly; Daniel Olson; Michael Koppi, Jr.; Christopher Koppi; Angie Koppi; 
Paul Koppi; Dustin K. Edwards; Andre’ J. Edwards; James M. Jowly; 10 great 
grandchildren; nephews: Christopher Jowly and Robert Jowly.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass 
at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 28088 Main Street, Lacombe, LA on 
Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 12:30 A.M.

Interment will follow in the Southeast LA Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA.

Visitation at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Thursday, May 11, 2017 
from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 A.M.
