Gordon Edison Nordgren, born March 17, 1919, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 
2017 at the age of 98. 

Beloved husband of 67 ½ years to the late Sara Ella Nell Nordgren. Father of 
Butch Nordgren (Terren), George E. Nordgren (Cinda), the late Gary E. Nordgren 
(Sandy), the late Gayle E. Ross, Geoffrey E. Nordgren (Patricia), Glenn E. 
Nordgren (Kim), Gretchen E. East (Ted), Grant E. Nordgren, Gina E. Graham 
(Darryl), and Gregg E. Nordgren (Lori). Son of the late Esther Nordgren and 
Charles Nordgren. Brother of the late Charles G. Nordgren.

Mr. Nordgren was a native of Ronan, Montana, a resident of New Orleans and St. 
Tammany Parish. He was a 2nd Lt. as a test pilot in the United States Army Air 
Corps during World War II and later self-employed sales.

All funeral services are private. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Nordgren to be 
made to Folsom First Baptist Church in Folsom, LA or to the Covington Food Bank.
