Sandra Franklin Pleune passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 surrounded by 
family at her home in Mandeville, LA. 
She was born on August 16, 1940 in Bloomington, IN to the late Donald 
Franklin and Atha Fern Campbell Franklin.

Sandra is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, John Russell Pleune. 
She was the loving mother of Scott Pleune and Rusty Pleune (Erin). Sandra 
was the proud grandmother of Mattie and Emma.

Sandra was well loved by everyone that knew her. She had a smile that would 
light up a room. She had a huge heart and was a brilliant storyteller. 
Sandra was a caring and devoted psychotherapist for 40 years at the 
Southeast Louisiana Hospital, Mandeville, LA and in private practice.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Visitation at E.J. 
Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, 
May 13, 2017 at from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
