Dennis “Joker” Lavon Sharp passed away on Sunday morning, May 14, 2017, at his 
home in Lacombe, Louisiana, at the age of 68. 

He was born June 6, 1948, in Frankfort, Indiana, to the late Sylvestor Sharp and 
Mable Ambler. 

Joker’s passion was driving trucks. He was a long haul truck driver for over 30 
years. He is survived by his wife, “his angel”, Deborah Sharp, his sons, Dennis 
Harper, Sr., Mickey Ray Sharp, Sr., Russell Falco and Joshua McGaha; his 
daughters, Lisa Gautreaux Braud, Samantha Jane Kinberger, Megan Laurene Kinberger 
and Carletta Louise McGaha; his sisters, Barbara Pericone and Sharon Jones; 20 
grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 

He will be sadly missed by his wife, family and friends. I will love and miss you 
forever! You'll always be in my heart! Love Always, your angel.
