BIVONA, IVA "DELL" DEAN 
	Died: Fri., Jun. 2, 2017

Iva “Dell” Dean Bivona, 90, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on  Friday, 
June 2, 2017.  

Born in Laurel, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Thad Dean and 
Dora Windham Toombs.  

She is preceded in death by her husband Vincent Bivona and her son Henry Neal 
Toombs.  She is survived by her children Dora Sokol Spano (Vic), John Joseph 
Sokol (Kathy), Mary Sokol Bivona (Emile), Lisa Bivona Livaccari (Mike). Her 
grandchildren Kimberly Sokol Reefe, Loretta Bivona Corkern , Benjamin Joseph 
Bivona, Michael Anthony Livaccari, Jr., Kristy Sokol, Angelica Livaccari 
McArthur . She also had ten great grandchildren Marley, Madison, Kameryon, 
Kaycee, Cassie, Isabella, Evelina, Zachary, Vincent and Quinn. 

Dell was the oldest of twelve children, Otho Toombs, Bobby Toombs (deceased), 
Helen Clark Toombs (deceased), Martha Toombs Lide (deceased), Gloria Toombs 
Schulingkamp, Mary Toombs, Virgina Toombs Peak (deceased), Sylvia Toombs 
Bradley,  George Toombs, Barry Toombs and Sally Toombs. 
She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins both of her 
blood and of her heart.  

She will be greatly missed by all.  

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at her 
daughter’s home located at 17393 Williams Road, Franklinton, La
