Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2017/st1706.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== Francis Jeanette Duncan Bush passed away peacefully, surrounded by her sons and grandchildren, early Sunday morning, June 11, 2017, in Madisonville, Louisiana, at the home of Mr. Richard and Ryan M. Ouber, at the age of 72. Jeanette D. Bush is survived by her three sons: Robert Cully Bush, (Evelyn) of Leakesville, Mississippi; Duncan Shane Bush of French Settlement, LA; Richard Wayne Bush-Ouber, (Ryan) of Madisonville, Louisiana; her siblings: Janice Duncan Simmons of Bogalusa, LA; Edna Duncan Ferguson of Bogalusa, LA; Eva Duncan Edwards of Texas. She is also survived by her many grandchildren: Andie C. Bush, Alyx U. Bush, R. Adam Bush, Reagan E. Bush, Payton A. Bush, Jordyn S. Bush, Rylee D. Bush and one great-grandchild: Kage Scott Jones. She is preceded in death by her father: Dewitt Duncan of Bogalusa, LA; her mother: Oral Duncan Carr of Bogalusa, LA; her brothers: Bill Duncan of Pennsylvania, Richard L. Duncan of Bogalusa, LA; and her sister: Virginia Duncan Adams of Varnado, LA. Jeanette D. Bush was born on September 13, 1944, in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Dewitt and Oral Duncan. She graduated from Bogalusa High School in 1962. Jeanette D. Bush was an accomplished accountant and business owner in Lucedale, Mississippi. She was a generous soul who always gave back to her community through sponsorships/donations to many George County Schools and different organizations through her business J & J’s Dollars for Checks, which she opened in Lucedale, MS in 1999, and still serves the community and she is so very loved to this day. As per the request of Jeanette D. Bush, her remains will be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held in Lucedale, MS., once the remains have been returned to the family. The date and time of her service will be published at a later date, so that everyone may come to pay their last respects if they so desire. The family would like to send a thank you to all physicians and nursing staff at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA., for all the loving and tender care they showed Ms. Jeanette D. Bush. And lastly, the family would like to send a special heart felt THANK YOU to Notre Dame Hospice for their professionalism, tenderness and most importantly, making her last few days so very comfortable, so that she could pass without any suffering.
