CHESTER RAE “BUTCH” DRAKE, SR., 72, of Diamondhead, MS, passed away on 
Wednesday, June 28, 2017, in Diamondhead, MS.

Beloved husband of Kathy Drake.
Father of Kim Drake Gann, Chester R. (Chip) Drake, Jr., Amy Drake Moon. 
Stepfather of Rene Barnes, Stephen Matthew Jones, Christopher Lee Jones, and 
the late Scot Michael Jones Jr.
Brother of Connie Whitehead Johnson and half-brother of Phillip Drake, Donnie 
Drake, and Kay Pinkerman.
Also survived by nine grandchildren: Tyler Tumlin, Mason Tumlin, Taylor Tumlin, 
Baylee, Emma, Sadie, Lily, Andrew, and Aiden.

Preceded in death by his wife Linda Bennett Drake.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 Gause Blvd., West (In Forest Lawn Cemetery), 
Slidell, LA, on Friday, July 7, 2017, at 11:00am.

Visitation at the funeral home will be held on Thursday from 5:00pm until 
8:00pm, and again on Friday beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be in SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA VETERANS CEMETERY, 34888 Grantham College 
Road, Slidell, LA 70460.
