Jennifer Wallace Magee’s life was stolen at the age of thirty-two in Pearl River, LA on June 19, 2017, as was the life of her beloved boyfriend Donald Gros. 
She was the pearl of her family, a loving friend, a devoted mother, and a caring registered nurse. Jennifer was an honor graduate of Delgado Community College and was employed by Southeast Louisiana Home Health where she enjoyed many friendships and found fulfillment in her work.

Known as a foodie and a trivia master, Jennifer was a sweet and smart person taken too soon. She will be missed forever.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother Patty Wallace of Michigan and her grandfathers John Perry Wallace and William Doc Mitchell of Slidell. She is survived by her children Caitlyn Magee and Jacob Magee; her father Patrick (Pat) Wallace and step-mother Stephanie Wallace of Slidell; her grandmother Melva Mitchell; her brother Jason Wallace and his fiancé Terri Cocchiara; stepbrother Thomas Jacobi and stepsister Katherine Paige Jacobi; aunts Pamela Kopfler and Sandy Planetta; uncles Joseph Kopfler II and Paul Planetta; and cousins Adam McConathy, Caroline McConathy and Anthony Planetta.

Funeral services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana, on Friday, June 30 , 2017.

Visitation will begin at 11:00am, followed by funeral service at 1:00pm. The reverend Merrill Bucher will officiate.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
