Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2017/st1706.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== Elaine Ann Landry Mayon, age 67, passed away peacefully after complications of cancer treatment, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital on June 19, 2017. She was born in Morgan City, LA on August 28, 1949 to her late parents Stephen Joseph Landry and Sadie Budd Landry. Elaine was a native of Morgan City and Berwick, LA and a longtime resident of Covington, LA. Elaine is survived by her two daughters Tessie Sewell (Stephen) and Shelly Mayon (life partner Kevin); her siblings Sadie Landry Angeron (Donald), Gertrude Landry, Daniel Gene Landry (Barbara), Dewey St. Patrick Landry, Harold Anthony Landry, Barnabas Abel Landry (Donna), James Dale Landry (Denise), and Crystal Mary Landry Proctor (Mike). She is preceded in her death by brothers Stephen J. Landry, Floyd John Landry, Ray Landry (Nanette) and Asher Mark Landry (Lori). Elaine is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews; many of whom she considered to be her own children and grandchildren. Elaine’s family would like to wish a very special thank you on her behalf to her closest sister and best care giver, Gertrude Landry. Elaine is also survived by many special friends and neighbors, especially Vicky Bijeaux and Pamela Hershey. A private ceremony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in her name, Elaine Ann Landry Mayon, to the St. Tammany Humane Society, 20384 Harrison Ave, Covington, LA. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Arlette Delcham and her nurses, Lilly and Whitney, at the St. Tammany Parish Hospital. ===================
