Carlos William Miller, Sr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the age of 89. 

He was born on Thursday, February 23, 1928 in Bogalusa, LA to Cinderella Boswell and Joseph Miller. He served in the U.S. Army, but later retired as a Supervisor from Osteen Construction where he worked for many years with his wife.

The beloved husband of Patricia Hunt Miller for 48 years, he is survived by his son - Eddie Joe Miller; his daughter - Tammie Miller; four grandchildren - Pvt. Christopher Bevels, Taylor Bevels, Jordan Bevels and Cameron Miller; three sisters - Hazel Jarrell, Vondell Powell and DiDi Pulling; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters - Velma Cooper, Marie Williams and Maxine Tillman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Collins Boulevard Baptist Church, 1501 Collins Boulevard Covington, LA 70433.

A wake is scheduled for Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 6-9:00 PM at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.

Visitation at the church on Friday will begin at 10:00 AM.

Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington will immediately follow services.
