Demetrios Pappas, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017,he was 81 
years old. 
Beloved husband of the late Violet K. Pappas.
Father of Johnny Pappas and Billy Pappas. 
Son of the late Vasilios Pappas and Agathi Mitzonis Pappas.
Brother of the late Fr. Gus Pappas, Angeliki Pappas, and George Pappas.

Demetrios was a native of Epirus, Greece and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1200 Robert E. Lee Blvd, New Orleans, 
LA 70122, on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. 

Interment will be Friday, June 9, 2017 at 9:00 A.M. in the Southeast Louisiana 
Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Road, Slidell, LA 70460. 

Visitation at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Thursday, June 8, 2017 
from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
