John Anthony “Johnny” Calico passed away Wednesday night July 26, 2017, in 
Arabi LA. at the age of 50. 
He was born in New Orleans, LA., and a lifelong resident of Chalmette. 

Johnny was a devoted father to Nicholas J. Calico and Jessica Marie Calico. He 
was born to Nicholas J. Calico and the late Carol Landry Calico. 
Brother of Karen Sage Bernhardt and her husband Joseph. 
Grandfather of three grandchildren Olivia Seiley, Amory Thomas Jr. and Penelope 
Thomas.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services on 
Wednesday August 2, 2017 at Open Arms Ministry, 1340 8th St., Slidell, at 8:00 
pm with Pastor Rod Pasch officiating. 

Visitation will begin at 4:30 pm until Service time.
