Roy “Tootie” Johnson passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Ochsner, 
Northshore at the age of 54. 
He was born in Slidell and was a lifelong resident of Pearl River. 

He was a loving and devoted father, son, brother, grandfather and friend and 
will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 
Tootie enjoyed hunting and fishing and also loved to cook for family 
gatherings. 

Loving son of Sonja Johnson and the late Roy Johnson, Sr. Devoted father of 
Chase Johnson and Ryan Johnson. Brother of Brian Johnson and Danita McCarron. 
Grandfather of Kaylee Johnson. Uncle of Anthony McCarron, Brent McCarron, Teri 
Johnson and Brandon Johnson. 

Preceded in death by his grandmother, Gladys Holden.

The family will have a private Memorial Service at a later time.
