He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles C. Marks of Geneseo, New York, and Josephine Way Marks of New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Marks is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sandra B. Marks; two sons: Stacy (Ashley) Marks, and Ryan Marks (Erin); two brothers: Terry (Linda) Marks Sr., and Troy (Suzan) Marks; four grandchildren: Devin Marks, Cole Marks, Melissa Marks, Aly Velasquez; one great-grandson: Jaxon Marks; two devoted sisters-in-law: Connie Young and Cindy Brai. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors, devoted cousins: Darlene Bayle, Billy Bayle, Glenn (Joyce) Geraci and other relatives. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for the past 24 years, Chuck, was the founder of Cee Cee’s Snoballs, and was a vendor at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival for the past 30 years. Mr. Marks was well known in the electrical supply industry for over fifty years, with Lambert Bros, Krogh Electric, and Armstrong Supply. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Ochsner Home Health, the Steve Gleason Foundation, Dr. Stephen Kantrow, Dr. Daniel Larriviere, and the “Cul de sac Krewe”, for their care, concern, and support, during Mr. Marks battle with ALS. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Blvd, Slidell, LA, on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at 11:00am. Friends may visit at the church beginning at 9:30am.
