LT.COL Billy J. Pruett, USMC, Retired, of Slidell, LA, formerly of Rector, AR, 
passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, he was 71 years old. 

He was born April 29, 1946, in Rector, AR the son of late W. Martin Pruett and 
M. Margurette Pruett. 

He was the beloved Husband of Victoria E. Pruett.  

He is survived by his sister, Shirley Blakemore and brother, Donald Ray Pruett. 
He is also survived by his son, Ryan Pruett, daughter in law, Stella Pruett, 
daughter, Heather Pruett, two granddaughters, Ashlynd Pruett and Danielle 
Pruett, and niece, Blake More. 

Bill was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer and 
bass fisherman. Loved God and never met a stranger. He will be missed.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Memorial Services at 
First United Methodist Church, 433 Erlanger Dr, Slidell, LA 70458 on Tuesday, 
August  1, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. 

Interment will follow in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA 
at 12:30 P.M.

Visitation at First United Methodist Church on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 
10:00 A.M. until funeral time at 11:00 A.M.

or by mail, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
