She was born on January 25, 1931 in Bude, MS to the late Frank D. Willis, Sr. and Hazel Kirklin Willis. Lexine was the loving mother of Deborah L. Constantino-Pendry (Charles), Stephanie L. Robison (James), Milton F. Leinwar, Jr. (Maria), and Michelle L. Coursey. She was the step-mother of the late Marlene Palmere (Joseph) and Melodie Leinwar. She was the proud grandmother of Jolene Langsford, Joey Palmere, Gina Wilson (Daniel), Brandi Clakeley, Jeremy Coursey, Nicholas Constantino, Hope Satterlee (Steven), Ashley Clark (Steven), Kevin Leinwar, the late John Leo Constantino (Kirsten Riney), and Christopher Leinwar. She will be dearly missed by her 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great great- grandchildren. She was the sister of Ruby W. Coig (the late Cornelius), the late Frank D. Willis Jr. (the late Barbara), David F. Willis, and Geneva W. Allday (the late Jerry). Lexine was also preceded in death by her first husband, Milton F. Leinwar, Sr., and her second husband, Frederick W. Scherer. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lexine was a supervisor for South Central Bell Telephone Company in New Orleans, LA for 27 years. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Lexine will be missed by all whom knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 3:00 PM. A Wake will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation on Tuesday will be from 2:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Covington, LA. ===================
