Hazel Rayes Atzenhoffer passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the age of 
88.

Beloved wife of the late John Leonard “Realy” Atzenhoffer. Loving mother of 
Bonnie Atzenhoffer Paille. Daughter of the late Eunice Taylor Rayes and Vincent 
Rayes. Sister of Elaine Mancuso and the late Melvin Rayes, Ronald Rayes and 
Teri Folse. Grandmother of Andre’ Paille III, Suzanne Paille Slade, John 
Leonard Paille, Claire Paille Coutrado, Paul Joseph Paille, Lesa Paille-Seal, 
Sara Paille Tocci and Mary Paille Mochon. Great-grandmother of 24 and great 
great-grandmother of five.

She was a native of New Orleans, resident of the Northshore for the past 40 
years and a parishioner of St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at E.J. Fielding 
Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, August 16, 
2017 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 noon.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Atzenhoffer 
to be made to the St. Tammany Council on Aging “COAST”.
