He was born on Tuesday, May 18, 1965 to Joy Rouse Dillard and Edgar Joseph Dillard, Jr. and lived in Metairie for many years before moving to St. Tammany Parish in 1985. A beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, he is survived by his father - Edgar Joseph Dillard, Jr.; his loving mother - Joy Rouse Weysham; step-father - Albert Weysham, Sr.; two sisters - Catherine Dillard Lorio (Bob) and Wendy Dillard Dronet; nieces - Brittany and Bethany Lorio; his nephew - Presley Dronet; and numerous cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents - Beatrice Brewster Dillard and Edgar J. Dillard, Sr., Henrietta Farrell Rouse and Joseph Phillip Rouse, Sr. A graduate of Rummel High School's class of '83, Jeff was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at Southeastern Louisiana University. Jeff opened T Rivers in Madisonville and ran the business for the first three years of operation. He worked alongside his father for years at Edgar J. Dillard, Jr. CPA, LLC as well as, Dillard & Winters, CPA’s in Madisonville and Metairie. For many years Jeff was a member of the Mandeville Krewe of Orpheus. As a young man he was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a member of the Red Bluff Hunting Club. He enjoyed cooking and grilling for family and friends. A favorite was his “Special Halloween Gumbo”, prepared for 14 years to celebrate his nephew’s birthday. Jeff will be missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 25, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours on Friday will begin at 1:00 PM. Jeff will be laid to rest in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family’s preferred charities the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. ===================
