Leona Fay Gill (Nee Ory) passed away August 5, 2017 at age 71. 

Leona was born in Mobile, Alabama and lived the last 30+ years in St. Tammany 
Parish. 

She was preceded in death by her parents JD and Zetta Althea Ory and brothers 
Richard and Jeffery Ory. 
She is the loving mother of Laura Ellen Schlotzhauer (David), Adrienne Mona 
Rosenthal (Earl) and Ashley Earl Gill, grandmother of Leanna Brown, Jeffery 
Brown, Erin Schlotzhauer, Brian Jenkins, Jr, Stephanie Keyes, Denzel Rosenthal, 
Tevin Rosenthal, and Alexis Wilson, and great-grandmother of four. 
She is also survived by brothers and sisters Barbara M. Ory, Michael Ory, 
Steven Ory, Dennis Ory, and Kellie O. Gagliano.  

Leona worked for many years as a professional caregiver and was happiest 
exercising her green-thumb and being surrounded by beautiful plants.

Friends of Leona and her family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on 
Friday, August 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 
75212 Lee Rd., Covington, LA 70435 
Visitation from 1:00 PM until service time.
