Hershel Lynn Gould passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 5, 2017. 

He was born in Batesville, AR to Frances Croswell and Lamon Hershel Gould on 
Friday, December 6, 1946. 
At a very early age, he moved to St. Bernard Parish where he graduated from St. 
Bernard High School and chose to raise his own family until being forced to 
move in 2005. For nearly 30 years, he worked for Southern Natural Gas and 
retired as a Mechanic and Shift Operator. He was also a proud member of the 
NRA.

The beloved husband of the late Janice Mary Sissac Gould, he is survived by his 
mother - Frances Croswell Gould; one son - Marc H. Gould; his daughter - Laurie 
Gould Piot (Chad); three brothers - Ronnie Gould (Etta), Robert (Lori) and 
Charles Gould (Pat); three grandchildren - Marc "Poccho" Gould, Jr., Morgan 
Gould, Cole Piot; and his loving companion of 4 years - Vicki Rawls. His father 
preceded him in death.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 12:00 Noon on 
Thursday, August 10, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. 
Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours on Thursday will begin at 10:00 AM.

Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens (adjacent to the funeral home) will 
immediately follow services.
