Gwendolyn Gail Lane, 51 of Folsom, LA passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017. 
She was born on May 4, 1966 in Bogalusa, LA to Andrew J. Lane and Patsy Lee 
Lane.

Gwen is survived by her daughter Savannah; her parents Andy and Patsy; her 
nephews Brian and Christopher; her nieces Krisa and Kayla; her great-nephews 
Kylan and Brayden; and her great-nieces Allie and Layla. She is also survived 
by large extended family that will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her brother James Brian Lane and her sister 
Jacqueline Lane Smith.

Gwen grew up in Folsom, LA and graduated from Covington High School in 1984. 
After graduation she went to work for Toland Industries and St. Tammany Parish 
Hospital. When Gwen was not working, she enjoyed spending time with her 
daughter Savannah riding the four-wheeler all over Folsom.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services, officiated by 
Brother Ronnie Douglas, at Lee Hill Baptist Church, 11007 Lee Settlement Rd, 
Folsom, LA 70437 on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be 
held on Monday, August 7, 2017, AT THE CHURCH, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and 
again on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time. 

Interment in Elias Lee Cemetery in Folsom will follow the service. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with burial expenses at 
Fundraiser by Ashley Watts : Burial fund for Gwen lane.
