He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lauren Graham Michaud; son, Devin Michaud of Mandeville, LA; daughter, Ashley Michaud Campbell (Clay) and two precious granddaughters, Grace and Millie of Superior, CO; parents, Maurice and Jeannine Michaud of Ocean Springs, MS; brothers Andre Michaud (Jennifer) and Michael Michaud (Debie) of Ocean Springs, MS; sister, Francine Harris (Steve) of Worthington, OH. In addition to his immediate family and siblings, he is also survived by many nephews, cousins and extended family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Marie Chasse, Harvey and Marguerite Michaud, all of Lewiston, ME; and nephew, Chad Thomas Michaud of Ocean Springs, MS. Gerry was born on February 3, 1956 in Lewiston, ME. He graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 1974. He joined the US Army in 1976 and retired from his military career in 2003 with over 25 years of service to our country. He enjoyed a bountiful life filled with family and friends, being remembered most for his constant laughter and happy-go-lucky disposition. A private viewing was held for the family at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home in Covington, LA on Tuesday, August 29th.
