Charles “Charlie” Harold Moffett III, of Slidell, LA, a U.S. Navy veteran, 
found peace with God on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the age of 76.

Preceded to God’s Heavenly peace by his beloved wife Dian Hannon Moffett.
Father of Charles H. Moffett IV and Mary Margaret Moffett. Stepfather of 
Kimberly Gomez and Ronald Tircuit.
Son of the late Charles H. Moffett Jr. and the late Caroline Meteye Moffett; 
brother of Louis Moffett and the late Madeline Collins.

Charlie was a parishioner of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in 
Slidell, Lousiana, where he was an RCIA co-coordinator, Sacristan, 
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, and Liturgical Minister scheduler for 
the church. He was a recipient of the Order of St. Louis IX Medallion, and a 
recipient of the St. Luke the Evangelist Medallion. He was also a member of the 
St. Luke’s Knights of Columbus Council #9973, The Father Francis X. Seelos K of 
C Assembly #2321, and the St Luke’s Men’s Club.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017, at St. Luke the 
Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Crossgates Blvd, in Slidell.

Visitation will begin at 10:30am, at the church, followed by the Mass at 12:00 
noon.

A Private Burial of ashes will be held in Mandeville Cemetery.
