Adele Ruth Knieper “Dell” Ranatzo, age 83, entered peacefully into heaven on 
Sunday, August 13, 2017 while surrounded by her loving family. 

She was the devoted wife of the late James E. Ranatzo for 52 years, and loving 
mother of Pamela Ranatzo Mannina, the late Rhonda Ann Ranatzo, and loving 
mother-in-law to Joseph Mannina Jr. A proud grandmother of Danyele Mannina 
Molinary and Jolene Adele Mannina, Grandmother in law to Michael Molinary and 
“GG” to ten great grandchildren: Daniel, Joseph, Nicholas, Cameron, Jacob, 
Michael W., Chase Molinary, Jessica, Megan, Brittany, and seven great great-
grandchildren. 
Daughter of the late Henry Knieper and the late Adele Bass Knieper, and sister 
of the late Henry Knieper, Shirley Shockley, Philip Knieper and the late Doris 
Dugas. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Slidell, 
Louisiana. Adele loved to travel and she was an amazing cook. She loved to make 
porcelain dolls, paint and crochet. She was the cofounder / owner of Dells 
Ceramics of New Orleans. Adele was also an Officer in the carnival club Selena 
in New Orleans.

Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST 
LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.
Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 9:00am.

Memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
