NECROLOGICAL. - Paul L. Guzman, husband of the late Harriet Penn, died at 
Florenville, last Wednesday morning, aged 62 years and 11 months.

The remains were brought to Covington, and the funeral took place Thursday 
morning from the residence of his son-in-law Mr. S. M. Poole, and was well 
attended, Rev. J. M. Williams, officiating.

The deceased was a native of this parish, a civil engineer by profession, 
and a Confederate Veteran. He was widely known and had many friends 
throughout this section of the State. He leaves one son and three married 
daughters, who have the sympathy of all ** their bereavement.
