18 Oct 1946;   Ralph Holister Cooper, 47, died 
enroute to the Baton Rouge hospital last Friday.  
Funeral services were held Sunday at Grace Episcopal 
church; burial was in the church cemetery.  He was a
 native of Covington and had many relatives in 
Tanpipahoa.  His survivors include his wife, 
the former Lydia Buschel; one sister, Mrs. G. F. Crawford
of Ponchatoula; three brothers, Earnest and V. N. Cooper
 of Covington and Walter Cooper of New Orleans.
