(Mingo) ...........1971 Died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 9 at his home at 2615 Aubin Lane(*Baton Rouge). He was 87 and a native of Roberts, La. He was a retired carpenter. Body at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home, with calling hours from 2:30 until 12p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. Funeral services at the funeral home at 10 a m. Thursday with the Rev. Ray Megginson officiating. Interment in the Covington Cemetery at Covington. Survivors include seven sons, C. A. Cooper Kenneth Cooper, Denham Springs; Ernest Lee Cooper, New Orleans; James F. Cooper, Jeanerette; Clyde Cooper, Baker; Conley Cooper, Indianapolis, Ind; Ralph Cooper, Ukiah, California; three daughters, Mrs. S. G. Sevier, Denham Springs, and Mrs. G. H. and Mrs Floyd Scott, both of Baton Rouge; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth White, Hammond; one brother, Walter Cooper , New Orleans; 37 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
