the marriage license.

State of Louisiana, Parish of St. Tammany, 18th Judicial District Court

 To Anyone Legally Authorized: 
            You are hereby empowered and authorized to unite in Holy Wedlock
Thomas B. Cook and Miss Amelia R. Carpenter
and when you have done so, you return a duplicate thereof, within thirty days,  to this office, as the law directs.
            Given under my hand officially, this 14th day of October, 1885

      This is to Certify, That on this 15th day of October, 1885, I, the undersigned, have, under the above License, joined together in holy wedlock,
Thomas B. Cook and Miss Amelia R. Carpenter
