On the 17th August 1845, the requirements of the law having been 
complied with. I performed the ceremony of marriage between Mr. William 
Vinzant and Miss Mary Williams.

Be it known and remembered that on this seventeenth day of August, in 
the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty five, and in 
the Independence of the United States of America the seventienth.
I, Lyman Briggs, Parish Judge in and for the Parish of St. Tammany, 
State of Louisiana preformed the ceremony of marriage between Mr. 
William Vinzant and Miss Mary Williams, both of Parish and State. In 
confirmation of which the parties have hereunto signed their names in 
the presence of the undersigned witnesses and this Judge.
