Located north of Hammond High School.  From US Hwy 190 take LA Hwy 1064 north for one 
mile.  Take the lane to the east 0.3 of a mile, turn right (south) onto the lane for 0.5 of a mile. 
Cemetery is on the west side of the lane.  There is a locked gate at the entrance on Hwy 
1064.  Key is available at the Parish Council Station on Pleasant Ridge Road.  GNIS Mapping 
coordinates: 303114N  902218W   Location: 14-6-8  

Rows numbered from south to north, graves from east to west.  (More or less as there is lots
of variation in layout.)  First grave 1916.

Revisited on Aug 5, 2000, Bankston (behind HHS) to check on oldest headstone:
Oldest grave appears to be:  Vashti Bankston, 1868 - 1908.
 
According to Vera Bennett, who has a family plot there, the land was donated by Gaylord's
(paper company)  She also said probably first burial was Alexander Bennett, but I didn't find 
it.  Could be one of the several broken stones.
