Painter July 16, 1861 or 7 Oct. 20, 1894 (According to an email received 11 July 2004, from Bruce Painter, this cemetery may be off East Givens Road close to Little Silver Creek and the Washington Parish line. I attempted to locate this grave on July 15, 2004. I talked with at least three area residents, but none of them could recall such. One family I talked with lives at the very end of East Givens Road. This road is off Hwy 1056 which intersects with Hwy 38, east of Kentwood, about two miles west of the Washington Parish line. There are no current listings of Painter in the telephone directory.
