Between the road and hay field, about 100 feet to the left of the entrance to the field. Cannot be seen from the road because of the dense bushes and trees. (Pone Blades Road is one mile east of the junction of LA Hwy 38 and LA Hwy 1054.) Two graves that are fenced: To the memory of James McDaniel Born June 20, 1828 Died June 30, 1905 "Home is not home for Father is not here" Rebecca E. Thompson Wife of James McDaniel Born Nov 10, 1823 Died Jan 14, 1894 "A precious one from us has gone A voice we loved is stilled A place is vacant in our home Which can never be filled." 3/29/2001: According to Mr. E. P. McDaniel, the other three graves are to the right of the gate into the pasture, in the bushes. Wallace A. Painter, 8/11/1823 - 4/21/1877. His two children are also buried but the headstones are missing or perhaps buried beneath the dirt. Christopher C. Painter, son of WA and GA Painter, 7/23/1855(?) - 11/30/1864.
