It is on a bluff behind (in a northwesterly direction) the Frank Neelis residence. The address is 47175 Chemekete Road, in the Robert community. Located in Sec 12, T5S, R8E, east of Hammond, LA. Robertson Oct 1, 1816 - Mar? 25, 1880 He was a beautiful son and kind husband A friend to the poor He has fallen asleep in Jesus (Neelis was told that he was a Civil War veteran) (Difficult to read with some misspelling.) (Rather large rounded top footstone, buried deeply. May be a headstone.) Frances C. Robertson Nov 17, 1847 - Aug 25, 1936 L. B. Robertson Mar 25, 1832 - Oct 6, 1916 Meta E. Robertson Mar 26, 1871 - Oct 2, 1934 Harris B. Robertson 1880 - 1943 (According to Booth's LA CSA, page 346, a Benjamin F. Robertson served as a Pvt, Co. H, 11th LA Inf. Enlisted Aug 18, 1861, Camp Moore, LA [which is in Tangipahoa Parish]. He was a prisoner of war and was paroled April 10, 1865. His age was 29, had blue eyes, dark hair and complexion, and was 5 feet 8 inches tall.
