Sanders Family Cemetery

Located approximately 0.3 miles north of Independence, La. On an island
of soil between US 51 and the IC Railroad. This was orginally the back
side of Sanders property whose home faced west and fronted on old
Highway 51, which is about one block west of the present highway, and is
now known as the old Amite highway.
