Proceed about 2.6 miles east on La Hwy 442. Tycer Lane is a gravel road on the north side of 442. Proceed about 0.5 miles north/nortwest from LA Hwy 442 on Tycer Lane, east side the road. Doris Johnston stated that the original name of this cemetery was STEVENS, then later became known as STEVENS-ROBERTSON. At the time of this recording, the two maps being used indicated the name TYCER. At that time I did not know that it was previously recorded by another name. Near the entrance gate, south of the lane, there are 5 graves: On are about Sep 22, 1896, John Cotton, his wife Isabella (1861-1896), Lizzie Miller (1858-1896), Agnes Miller (1856-1896), Nad Mervine Miller (2/?/1880-1896) were killed by John Johnson, a black who worked on their farm.
