I Benj. Richardson Judge of said Parish and exificio auctioneer in and for the Same pursuant to an order from the Probate court herein also in accordance with the deliberations of a family meeting, relatives of the Minor heirs of Mrs. Francis BRADSHAW regularly ___________ to the residence of the late Mrs. Bradshaw on Big Creek in the Parish of Washington to Make Sale of Part of the property belonging to the succession of the deceased on twelve Months Credit for notes and Security and a mortgage until final pay having first given due and legal notice of this Sale by advertising according to law and having offered and exposed the tract of land Known as the Mill claim bounded north by Peter Bankston South by Addison East by public land and West by Sam'l Hyde. Containing Eight hundred and ninety five acres more or less and after the Various offers and bids Samuel Hyde of the Parish being the last and highest became the purchaser thereof for the Sum of two hundred dollars. Then personally came and appeared before me the undersigned Judge of Said Parish Benjamin Bradshaw and Stephen Van Allen, administrators of the Said Estate and the said Bradshaw as Curator for Susan Elizabeth Ann the minor heirs of Wm. Van Allen Dec'd and as tutor for his minor daughter Francis minor heir of Mrs. Bradshaw who does declare and Say that in consideration of the foregoing adjudication they do by these presents and in their capacities aforesaid grant Bargain Sell and Convey to the Said Samuel Hyde described land bargained premises with all and singular the rights titles ways privileges advantages and appurtenances there unto belonging or in any way appertaining warranting and defending the title to the same to the Said purchaser his heirs and assigns to be free from all encumbrances the Said purchaser present -- and accepting for himself the purchaser for the above amount of two hundred dollars has given his promissory note with good and Solvent Security -- which note is payable to the administrator of Said Estate for the use of the of the same, of even date herewith and Second by mortgage on the Land until final payment -- which note is hereby acknowledged by the Said Administrator and to be identified with this act -- has been paraphed by the said Judge. The property herein Sold to free of any mortgages whatever registered against Same. Done and passed and the parties have signed in presence of Jno. T.
