All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ Old Deeds of Washington Parish, as copied and sent to Tangipahoa Parish when it was formed: Volume 1, pages 16-17 David Robertson to Harden Robertson State of Louisiana Parish of St. Tamany to all people whom these presents may consern I David Robertson of the Parish of Washington and State aforesaid and greetings Know yea that I the said David Robertson for an inconsideration of the maternal love and affection I have and bear unto my son Headen Robertson for Divers other good causes and consideration we here unto specially renouncing have given and granted and by give grant and confirm unto the said Haiden Robertson all that tract or parsel of land upon which I now live and bounded as follows viz Southwardly by Dunbars branch east by Hezekiah Robertson land north by big creek and Green Bradford and west by Simion Bankston to have and to enjoy the said land unto the said Haiden Robertson his heirs and assigns forever and I the said Davison Robertson the said land unto the said Haiden and his heirs executors and assigns against all persons what so ever and warrent and forever defend by these presents in witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this the day of Aug 1824.
