All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ************************************************ Old Deeds of Washington Parish, as copied and sent to Tangipahoa Parish when it was formed: Volume 1, page 18 David Robertson to Eli Headen Stae of Louisiana, Parish of St. Tamany Know all men by these presents that I David Roberson of the Parish of Washington and state aforesaid have this day bargained and sold unto Eli Headen of said Parish a certain tract or parcel of land containing Eighty acres more or less lying and being situated in the Parishs of Washington and St. Tamany and bound as follows Viz on the west by Hezekiah Roberson land and north by Green Bradford land on all other sides by Vacant land the above being sold for and in consideration of the sum of sixty dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged in consideration of which payment I warrant the said land to the said Headen from myself and and my heirs and all persons claiming under me and no other person or persons whatsoever in witness where of I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighth day of August Eighteen hundred and twenty four.
