H. Robertson to I. H. Wright, #132 Know all men by these presents tht I David H. Robertson of the Parish of St. Tamany State of Louisiana in consideration of the Sum of Eight hundred dollars which I owe unto Isaac H. Wright of the Parish of Washington and Stateof Louisiana do hereby give grant bargain sell and convey unto the Said Isaac H. Wright his heirs and assigns forever all way right and interest to a certain tract or parcel of land being and lying in the Parish of Washington State aforesaid Known as the tract of land deeded to me by my father David Robertson and being the part of the undivided tract a part of which I sold to Catherine Meredith wife of Isaac H. Wright Said land lying on Big Creek and bounded as follows to wit: South by Dunbar's Branch east by Hezekiah Robertson or at present Frederick Barclay. North by Creek and Green Bradford and west by Simeon Bankston. Containing one Hundred and Fifty acres more or less together with all our Singular the privileges and appurtenances to the same in any wise appertaining and belonging -- To have and to hold the same, to the said Isaac H. Wright his heirs and assigns to him and their behoof forever: and the said David H. Robertson for myself my heirs my executors and administrators do Covenant with the said Isaac H. Wright his Heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in the fee if the before granted premises, that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Isaac H. Wright as aforesaid and that I will and my heirs and executors and administrators shall warrant and defend the same to the said Isaac H. Wright - his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all others, provided nevertheless that if said David H. Robertson his heirs executors or administrators shall will and truly pay unto Isaac H. Wright within one year after hereof the sum of Eight Hundred dollars which he the said David H. Robertson owes Isaac H. Wright by note of the present date, for the sum, of Eight Hundred dollars payable twelve months after date, then and in that case this deed shall be void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue in witness whereof I the said David H. Robertson have hereto this Fifteenth day of February and the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred thirty-six affixed my seal in presence of William Parker and Nancy Wright subscribing witnesses, signed sealed and delivered in the presents. Robertson sign the same and acknowledge it to be just and furthermore that William Parker was a subscribing witness.
