C. Warner to David Robertson Suc. of Wiley Robertson State of Louisiana Parish of Washington Be it known and remembered that on the Twenty seventh day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and thirty one and in the fifty sixth year of the Independence of the United States of America I Thos. C. Warner Judge of said parish agreeably to an order of the Court of Probate for said Parish proceeded to sell at public auction the following Tract of land as the property of the Late Wiley Robertson of said Parish deceased containing Eight hundred and eighty acres more or less lying and being in the Parish aforesaid on Bog Creek whereon said dec. had Mill gin etc. Bounded on Peter Bankston on the upper or North side on Samuel Hide west on the lower or south side on Thomas Addison and the East by unknown and having exposed the same to public sale as aforesaid David Robertson became the purchaser thereof for the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars on a credit of Eighteen months for which the said David Robertson has executed his obligation with William Hogan his security for the same. Now therefoe Know all men by these presents that I said Judge as aforesaid do in consideration of the premises and by Virtue of the act in such cases made and provided grant Bargain sell assign and set over to the said David Robertson his heirs and assigns, all the above described Land and all the Right title Interest or demand which the said Wiley Robertson dec. had in or to the same at his decease or any part thereof. I the said Judge and Samuel Hide Curator of the Succession of said dec. selling and the said David Robertson accepting have set our hands day and date above written. In presence of Robert Edwards and Cullen Sanders subscribing witnesses who have signed their names hereto. Thos. C.
