The colonial type structure with its large white columns and dormer windows are added features to the all cypress framework house. In the front reception area are Victorian love seats, chairs and oriental floor coverings. Of added note is the empire petticoat table. Sheraton furnishings including a bed, and early empire chest and Sheraton side board are among the family heirlooms and prized possessions. The formal living room and dining room are enhanced with oriental rugs. Leading from these rooms is a less formal sun porch. Steps lead to the large bricked patio and swimming pool. The Edwards home is oriented to gracious living and hospitality. The more formal living room and dining room leads to a less formal sun porch where the family spends many hours. Steps lead from it to a flourishing large side garden, bricked patio and further out a swimming pool. This area graciously served as the setting for the home wedding of both Edwards daughters.
