The location is 1129 North General Pershing Avenue. "When we built the house about 19 years ago, the sculptor came to the house and observed our characteristics and the back ground and then created the work accordingly," said Mrs. Andres. Both Dr. and Mrs. Andres are lovers of music, both play the violin and Mrs. Andres plays the piano and organ. Another feature adding character to the Andres home is the Greek Orthodox family altar in the bedroom. In keeping with Greek Orthodox tradition the family gather here for prayers. A grand piano highlights the living room where mauve floor carpeting and country-scenic floral patterned draperies harmonize with the background. A celedon-green French Provincial sofa and chairs upholstered in blended dark red fabric from the conversational seating space. Tables in identical styling flank either end. The sofa faces a long Italian marble coffee table while numerous eclats augment the setting. The spacious home was designed for gracious living and the family room where the family really lives is geared for comfort. Added conveniences are the garden, pool side and swimming pool built for outdoor entertainment.
