Foreword:
    We, the Seniors are happy to present to you Il Ricordo.  This is the fifth annual published from 
our school. To the student body, faculty members, and business people we wish to express our 
gratitude, for your co-operation and support. May you cherish throughout the years this annual 
which will recall many pleasant memories to you of the activities of the Independence High School 
during the year of 1950-51.

Now to thee, dear Alma Mater,
As we sing thy praise,
Our hearts remember your love in by gone days.
Years may dim the fond remembrance
Of your children true,
