Landry. Mrs. Penny Thibodeaux is again employed with the Williams Lumber Co. Miss Dorothy Thibodeaux of Thibodeaux is visiting Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Gaude and family. Mrs. Charles Landry and daughter spent last week-end in New Orleans with relatives. Mrs. A. C. Handley was a business visitor of New Orleans last week. Mr. E. J. Gaude and Oresta, Inez, Lyman and Herman spent Saturday and Sunday in Thibodeaux with relatives and friends. Mr. Ed. Charleville returned from Chicago on Thursday last. Mr. Clarence Pittman is confined to his bed with high temperature. Miss Mildred Johnson of Brookhaven returned home after spending a week with Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Pittman. Little Gloria Pittman is on the sick list this week. Mrs. Cotton, Mr. Crisholm and Mrs. Johnson of Brookhaven were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Loften and Mr. and Mrs. Pittman. Mrs. C. M. Pittman and daughter Gloria returned last Sunday from Brookhaven. Mr. Geo Bourg and son, Geo. Jr., were visitors to the Crescent City Thursday to consult an eye specialist. Mr. and Mrs. McMurray and sister of the latter, of Pride, Miss., spend last week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smith.
