He was originally from Ponchatoula. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs Gracie Ryan and Mrs. Beulah Ridgdell Parker and three brothers, Murphy Babin, Manuel Babin and Elman J. Babin, all of Ponchatoula. BOTTOLFS, HELEN MAE FENDLASON, 16 May 1979 Services were held Monday for Mrs. Helen Mae Fendlason Bottolfs who died Saturday at Oschner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. Survivors include her husbnad, George Arthur Bottolfs; a son, Reginald Bottolfs of Ponchatoula; and daughter Mrs. Marvin (Debbie) Wells of Ponchatoula BRAUN, LESTER, 2 May 1979 Services were held Monday at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula for Lester Braun, who died April 27. Survivors inclued his wife, Mrs Anne Thompson Braun, Ponchatoula. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Braun; and five brothers, Otis, Roy, Pete, Bernard and Bobby Braun. BRESCHER, DOUGLAS TURNER, 7 Feb 1979 Services for Douglas Turner Brescher were held at Thomas Funeral Home. Mr. Brescher was 63, a native and resident of Ponchatoula. Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Lofton; one son, Errol Brescher; four brothers, Frank, John, Wallace and Freddie Brescher, all of Ponchatoula. He was prededed in death by two brothers, Ray and Van Brescher. GABRIEL, LAURA ROMBACH, 25 Apr 1979 Services for Mrs. Laura Rombach Gabriel were held April 23 at First Presbyterian Church in Ponchatoula. Survivors include four sons, Harry J. Gabriel Jr. and John L. Gabriel, both of Ponchatoula; Parker C. Gabrieal, Amite; and Edmond H. Gabriel, Jackson, Miss.; and a sister, Mrs. Henry Christensen, New Orleans. HEBERT, LOUIS WOODROW, 7 Feb 1979 Funeral services were held at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula for Louis Woodrow Hebert, 65, a native of St. Gabriel and a resident of Ponchatoula. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery. he is survived by his wife, Mrs Louise Parker Hebert; a son, Donald Louis Stevens; two daughters, Mrs John L. (Eva Marie) Mitchell and Mrs. Joseph (Evelyn Frances) Pepitone; all of Ponchatoula; and sisters Mrs. Jessie Rottman and Mrs. Homer Fendlason of Ponchatoula KUPPER, LUCILLE JONES, 4 Apr 1979 Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Jones Kupper were held March 28 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Killian Kupper Jr., Baton Rouge, and L.J. "Jackie" Kupper, Ponchatoula; four daughters, Mrs. W. S. (Mary) Scanlan, New Orleans; Mrs. Milton (Inez) Lavigne, Ponchatoula; Mrs. Marion (Carmen) Wolf, Baton Rouge; and Mrs. Durald (Jean) Pinion, Chalmette MCDANIEL, JENNIE, 18 Apr 1979 Mrs. Jennie McDaniel died Monday, April 16, 1979 at a local hospital in Longview, Texas. She was 81, a native of Ponchatoula and a resident of Longview for the past 23 years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elmer Hanson and one son, J.D. McDaniel, both of Longview; and one sister, Mrs. Guice Stafford of Hammond.
