Vining * Santa Marie Monistere Saladino DENNIS M. VINING Dennis M. Vining, 55, died May 26, 2003, at his residence in Hammond. He was an Army veteran and a 29-year employee at Southeastern Louisiana University, where he worked as a refrigeration mechanics foreman. He was also president of Hammond High School's Booster Club and had been active in the club for many years. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Liz" Cook Vining of Hammond; two daughters, Laura Terrebonne of Crossville, Tenn., and Christine Jones of Tickfaw; a son, Gerald J. Rousseau; two sisters, Viola Guiffreda of Ponchatoula and Alberta Meyers of Bedico; two brothers, Kenneth and Gary Wayne Vining, both of Ponchatoula; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ray and Corine Perilloux Vining; a sister, Esther Gordon; and three brothers, Walter L., Otto and Douglas Vining.
